We’ve come a long way from our early days as a start-up. Since launching 4D in 2015, we’ve seen interest in the infrastructure asset class grow exponentially as our own business has expanded. The Fund has been a top quartile performer among its peers since its inception**; and has out-performed the recognised infrastructure indices over the same period.***
Our belief in the infrastructure investment thematic has only strengthened over the years, and we continue to believe that infrastructure is a sector offering incredible value to investors. If anything, over the past 12 months we’ve seen more opportunity than ever before for us as investors; and subsequently for our own clients.
There is one thing that hasn’t changed since we started, and that’s our underlying investment philosophy. We continue to work to give our investors access to the best opportunities globally, within a core listed infrastructure universe, adopting an integrated fundamental bottom-up and top-down process to capitalise on the prevailing economic environment.
We’re now building on our success of the past five years to strengthen our team and processes, including increasing the depth of our capabilities and embracing an ever-evolving commitment to responsible investment.
Our partnership with Bennelong Funds Management over the past five years has been an important part of our success. This has freed the portfolio management team to focus on investment management, and to make the investment decisions that have seen us consistently beat the indices and our benchmark and provide good returns for our investors.
And of course, it’s those investors who are the real reason for our success. We sincerely thank each and every one of you for your ongoing support and belief in 4D. We’re looking to the next five years with great optimism, taking advantage of the ever-increasing need for global infrastructure to ultimately benefit you, our clients.
